I have been looking at Northumberland Fus' busby badges and whilst most have the bottom loop in the centre of the ball i have seen a few as in the picture, are these genuine i also notice the back of the st George is not clear on these .

The bottom-lugged, indistinct back badges are common fakes that have been around a while, unfortunately, Ian. Genuine items have well defined backs and a long lug in the centre of the grenade.
