Mystery badge for ID...
Hello all, a friend of mine has just dug up the following on a site in Lincolnshire & has asked me if I think it has any military connotation. Personally I don't, but there's something nigglingly familiar about it, so I thought I'd see if the collective B&CMBF brain has any ideas.
Apparently it's about an inch in diameter & 'quite thin'. Cheers, Kevin

My guess would be church, nursing or school - not military, as you surmise.

It shows letters O.R.I. in any order.

Cheers both, much appreciated.
Given the permutations, I think it's likely to be akin to looking for a needle in a haystack, so I suspect the granny whose garden it was found in will not be getting an answer anytime soon unfortunately. Kevin
