Default Some CFA CGA RCGA Titles

Hi All

I wanted to post photos of some of the varieties of Canadian Artillery titles that I have. I believe these to be from around the WW1 period. It is my hope that forum members will enjoy seeing these and add photos of variations of these titles that they have. Badges like these can make a very nice collection by themselves or form a mini-theme within the bigger collection. The badges on the blue background have no maker mark. All titles shown have lugs. The last photo shows one of the frames I have done up of these badges.

Thanks
Bob

I have just carefully removed and then replaced the CFA titles on my 36th Bty OR tunic. They have the horizontal bars top and bottom between letters. Those illustrated only have the bottom ones!

Mine are Tiptaft Bham marked which is nice.

The titles have left clear marks on the epaulettes and the nap of cloth worn away. I believe I may have been the first to remove in 90 odd years!!!

Below each CFA is a curved metal Canada title, and I have not removed these as the split pins are bent back preventing this occurring!

Thanks for adding the first British maker mark to this thread. Sounds like a very nice tunic.
