Army Apprentice School
Can anyone confirm this badge came fitted with lugs, I have a curved Gaunt London makers mark slider example.
Picked this one up yesterday, any input welcome. Thanks Tony.

Tony. Yes they came both with lugs and sliders. You often find these with the lugs removed and a slider fitted in lieu. The AAS regime required daily polishing and it was easier to remove the badge with a slider than with lugs. Yours is well 'buffed' down so considered genuine. As a King's crown it would have been worn with the old SD 'cheese cutter' cap, which always gave me a headache! But by that time we had moved on to QC and Staybrite, Ugh!

Thanks John, great answer, my other example is "buffed" more than this one!
Cheers Tony.
