Default Help! I have badges and patches to sell on Ebay

Hi,

I am new to this forum.

My husband has been collecting all types of military badges and patches at car boot sales and military fairs over the years.

I have started to list a few on Ebay and am enquiring if there is a way on this forum of posting pictures prior to listing?

I think he has paid too much for some of his buys and want to check they are not replicas before listing.

Can anyone advise?

Kind regards
Marie-Claire

Hello Marie-Claire, welcome to the Forum. Your account is active and open for posts.
The membership of the page is very helpful, but they may withhold comments if you are using their knowledge for ebay purposes. It has been suggested that much more assistance will be forthcoming if the material you are researching is offered to the members first, before listing on ebay.

Hi Marie-Claire, it would be worth putting photos either here or on a Separate thread in this section of the forum to ask for the opinions of the members. I’m not sure about the rules regarding valuations etc, but I’m sure some members would be interested in some of the badges your husband has bought and you could always list those for sale in the relevant section.

Hope this helps,

Adam

Does your husband know that you are selling his military badges on ebay?

Ha ha!

Yes - reluctantly letting me sell some to help pay for Christmas presents!

I will take some pics and add them.

Thanks for the help

Marie-Claire,

I would strongly recommend you offer to members first if you are asking for their expertise. Also you won't have to pay ebay fees, paypal etc on items you sell here.

Regards

Mark
