Big Royal Devonshire and Norfolk Regiment ribbon
A couple of easy ones i guess.
1. I have this Royal Devonshire lion on a crown badge but it looks too big for a cap badge. It has 2 lugs on it, way too big for a collar so can anyone tell me what it would of been attached too. size = 6.5cm tall 2. Norfolk Regiment ribbon strip, any ideas on this? were they cut and sewn onto uniform somewhere? about 5.5cm height each picture Any help much appreciated |

No.2 is a Norfolk Girl Guide County Badge probably from the 1980's I'd say looking at the front

Ha Ha i thought it had something to do with the Norfolk regiment as it was in my grandpas collection of badges. silly me.
He died around 1983 and i can only think that he got it for my sister who was in the girl guides about that time Thankyou for that id |

The first is an NCO's arm badge of both the 1st Royal dragoons and the 15th Hussars and 15th/19th Hussars. The Kings Crown being worn post 1953 also as it is a 'Kings' Regiment.
regards
