Brecknockshire Bn question
Can genuine Brecknock Bn cap badges have 'tagged' (i.e. separately attached) scrolls, or is this an indicator of a fake?

Never say never but all of the genuine ones were one piece.

Thanks, Alan. This is it -- I don't really know what to make of it. It 'feels' like a good badge but I've never seen another example with an attached scroll.

To me the scroll doesn't look like it was part of " that " badge ? And has been added on to recently IMHO.

Like Andy and Alan say the scroll has been added and is fake. Look at the terrible seeding, looks like sandpaper. Someone’s recent attempt to turn a £20 badge into a £40 badge.

Except that I acquired it a long time ago and paid a pittance for it. So whoever did it put in a lot of work for no appreciable purpose or gain.
