The one on Ebay also looks BLUE.

Is it possible that Volunteers get blue and the Military get Purple.

Or is the Purple one a camera thing.

D'you know what Mike,

I cannot believe that our Corps has made a badge, Soooooooooooo hard to collect, that not even us guy's who only just !! have contacts left in the Corps, can't even get hold of one, ......... now that sucks !!

Maybe I left a little too early at the formation of the Corps (Aug 1994)
(Damn you RLC people, not even us oldies saw that one coming)

From a rather disheartened "Ex" RLC individual S/Sgt, and as they've always said to us in the RCT on NITAT Trg, "Always be prepared for the unexpected".

I'm thinking of collecting Wheel Cap covers, as I can find them in gutters alot, as they seem to fall off cars for nothing (I noticed this from waking up often in gutters, what with being a driver type bloke) hic

Good hunting Mike

Ken

HI ive not had chance to study the bidding history and this may be a genuine bid by a ` must have this one ` collector but I really wouldnt be surprised if this high price was rigged by a dealer and his pal to drive the price up , then hay presto they start selling the ones they are having made .......... just a thought

Both the dealers, on both sales are from Plymouth !! now that's strange to say the least, maybe, just maybe, he is has TWO ebay names and is bidding on the two items to increase the bids, ........
(What a knacker)

They are strangely both now priced at £34.00

I also collect RLC 'Felix the Cat' EOD Pin Badges, and the first few on FleaBay get high prices (I always set myself a limit) then taper off on later listings. I really think there are collectors out there with deep pockets, and things like the London 2012 Patch well plumit in price after the games end.

Now I have only ever seen one oval Catering patch Ken, and not on eBay!
Have you got 7 Regt Eagle or 710 Laundry Sqn Cat yet?

Got this today on ebay

Dear (ME),

We appreciate that you chose eBay to list your listing(s). However, we have removed your (s) because it breaches our Government IDs and Licenses policy.

300749930402 - army olympic 2012 badge

Why did we remove your listing?

You listed London 2012 Olympic Games Maker Uniform items. In order prevent false identities, comply with the law, and help ensure public safety, we don't allow certain Olympic Kit or Uniform items for Games Maker or Games Ambassador from both Government and non Government organizations to be listed on our site. Please do not relist such items.

We have noticed that there are more than one breach on your account. Please make sure that you list your items in compliance with eBay policies to avoid any negative impact on your account. In case of any confusion please visit our help page or contact us via chat or email.

In accordance with our User Agreement, items prohibited by law or by eBay policy are not allowed on eBay.

You're not allowed to list government IDs and licences, or items that claim to be or look similar to government IDs and licences on eBay.

And just when you think they had sold for £50.00,

you get this from ebay, i think you will he is in trouble, and you may not see anymore for sale till after the games.

Thanks for bidding on this item:

110926225311 - Official Olympics London 2012 Lanyard And Flash

Unfortunately, we had to remove this listing and cancel all bids relating to this item. We know this is disappointing for everyone involved, but we can't allow listings on our site that breach our policies.

There are three main reasons why we remove listings:
- The item isn't allowed on eBay or can only be listed under certain conditions.
- The way the item was listed doesn't follow eBay rules.
- The listing contains pictures or words that may create copyright or trademark issues.

***If you've already paid using PayPal***

If you've already paid for the item through eBay and you want to get your money back bla bla bla

Very impressive Mike,

I never worked in the Felix Teams when on Ops in NI, but if I had, I know i'd have collected the lot, or should i say, as many as possible.

7 Regt Eagle, I have the Black on Beige shield and I'm aware of the Red issued badge, through your RLC site
710 Laundry badge, I've not got either, but I'm aware of it, as above also.

Ken
