County of London Regiment
I know that we have touched on a couple of the London Battalions, but i thought it would be nice to see what badges other members have in their collection be it Officer's or O/Rs.
I shall start off with 2 versions of the 28th and a 10th all OSDs. Cheers Malc

Lovely badges esp. the Hackney (but then I would say that being a local lad)
Here's a few of my London's as worn contempoary with 1914. 1) 5th City of London (London Rifle Brigade) 2) 6th City of London 3) 7th City of London 4) 8th City of London (Post Office Rifles) 5) 9th County of London (Queen Victoria's Rifles) - [from my uncle's collection] I was hoping to get one at Farnham but no such luck.

The 8th London one is a very good copy but has the same flaw as all of those type of copies in that the crown is solid. I had one of these myself and when put next to a genuine one the differnce is apparent as the rear detail is poorer.

it seem nice, are you sure that is restrike ? for the 8th (non voided crown) ok..... it's a pretty restrike
