Colours right but they're a bit trumpety, erm Angel Trumpets? Calla Lillies with artistic licence? or even Freesia's? I don't know would have been the short answer

Thanks James, I'm absolutely astounded by the interest shown in this thread, my main area of collecting is Black Watch Militaria. However I do have the remains of several other collections from my past eg ancient artifacts, Roman coins, cigarette cards, postcards of Victorian RN ships, etc,etc.

They would have a field day on 'The Antiques Roadshow' going through the symbolism I am sure. I recall a lot of interest in Suffragette items. It is a lot like decoding military heraldry. I wish Dad was here to identify the flowers, a great gardener, it would have kept him busy for hours.
