Default Early 17th plate

Need some help I have this early 17th plate 4 battle honours but never seen this type of skull on the plate has anyone else got this style or seen one.
The plate is really well struck detail is first class.i haven't seen another. I was wondering a different maker perhaps like armbadges and mottos all help most welcome.

Here is mine you can compare against with various views of sides and rear, what fixings do you have? Screw posts or little holes along edge?

Hi again Mac, quite a lot of difference’s between both?

Size of Crown, Shape
Shield in comparison with Heads of Lion and Unicorn
Jaw “Teeth” of Skull

Just a few, chore’s the Wife’s awake and bossing!

Default 17th plate

Thanks for chipping in and taking the time.
Your plate is the 1879 type so there will be a fair amount of difference.
I do have all three standard 17th plates 1856.....1879.... and post 1901.
So the hunt continues.
