Default 1 Para Battalion shoulder titles

Hi,
I have these two variations of the Afrikaans version of 1 Para Battalion.

One is bright yellow on green with punctuation
The other is old gold on green without punctuation

Is this just a manufacturer variation or is there some significance to the two versions?

Regards
Steven

Steven... looks like red dye from the backing has caused the colour change after being washed? From the ones I have seen they are all like the top one.

Hi Brian,
Yes that is a possibility as there is some red felt behind the badge. Was previously glued to red felt.

It does however look like old gold in hand but the picture does make it look reddish. Might need to take a closer look and possibly give it a mild wash to see if any red dye comes out.

Steven try and remove all the red felt first. These titles are hardy and can take a good wash.
