I don't see myself in this thread, but feel sure I said yes previously.
Please put me down for a copy.

Thanks Guys!

I will get back to you as soon as the book is available. Bit of a hic-up though.

It was highlighted to me just 12 hours ago (thanks William) that I had mis-named one of the badges on the cover. Frantic emails to the UK to hold physical printing and although the company director put a 'stop' order on the job I will not know if the call was sucessful until Monday.

I had named the King’s Own Yorkshire Yeomanry (Light Infantry) [All Ranks] as The Scottish Yeomanry [All Ranks] and this was not picked up in proof reading either.

Regardless, the error is all mine and I own it.

When I know more I will get back to this thread.

Regards,

Chris

A flier as a single sheet errata would be fine by me (but as I now know no need in my copy).

The cover error has been sorted out but this has pushed printing and binding to the end of the queue so book will be another 3-4 weeks being made up.

Sorry about the delay.

Hi,

All books now ordered both for UK and overseas have been shipped apart from those UK orders that have come through within the last few hours.

We have a new price for US/Canada, Australia/NZ down from 82GBP/77GBP to just 68GBP for both zones which includes the actual book itself.

This is a slower service but I am told that due to current shipping issues it takes the same time as the 'quicker' and more expensive option.

Must apologise to those who have paid the higher rate but this new rate has only just popped up.

Chris

Default Modern Metal: British Army Cap Badges 1990 -2020

Chris Marsh’s latest work (Modern Metal: British Army Cap Badges 1990 -2020) is a quality binding, well organized and an easy read. It provides a magnificent reference of large, clear pictures (front and back) along with information on the manufacturing of these badges. The book also provides the cap badge collector an excellent way to educate themself, such that they can better avoid the scourge of the hobby - Those unscrupulous scum-bags who knowingly sell “re-strikes” (fakes) as the real thing.

Bravo Zulu!

Just a quick note to say my copy of the book arrived safely. I was only allowed a brief glimpse of it as I've been informed I'm not to have it until my birthday it's been a very long time since I can't wait for another birthday to come around.
Thank you Chris for another terrific book.
Bantam.
