Default Royal Sussex

Can i have some thoughts on this broached Royal Sussex badge. Regards.Phil.

It looks like an all GM 1916 badge (being formerly BM). It looks as though there is the scar of a broken off slider at the top. The brooch pins look as though they are crudely soldered on.
All plausible so far !

Thanks KLR, yes i think you are right,i don't have any economy badges but sounds right.It is a nice badge apart from the broach and the slider has been removed.Regards Phil.

Phil,
I thnk the colour may be an attempt to make it look like an OSD, perhaps and officer lost one and had an ORs EI adapted? Who knows?
