Default Irish Guards peaked cap - how many?

I was wondering if anyone knew the number of different peaked caps worn by the Irish Guards?

Guardsmen - 1 gold ring on peak

2 gold rings on peak?

3 gold rinks oo peak?

At what rank is the 'officers' cap worn? CSM, RSM?

Any help very much appreciated.

Regards

Conor

One brass band - Lance Corporal and Guardsman.
Two brass bands - Lance Sergeant.
Three brass bands - Colour Sergeant and Sergeant.
Three gold bands - Drum Major.
Four gold bands - Warrant Officer class 2.
Five gold bands - Warrant Officer class 1.

The above information is correct apart from Drum Major, which is an appointment and can be held by LSgt-W01 so the wearer would wear the peak appropriate to their present rank. Also musicians/bandsmen are not shown above, they would wear the appropriate bank in gold bullion to their rank and not brass bands.

The only Irish Guards cap I have in my collection - brass binding to the peak, leather strap, anodised badge & buttons:

The Grenadier one that I have has the appropriate badge (which was'nt on it when I got it) & two bands of peak binding for the rank written inside - Lance Sergeant, but there's the impression of a 3rd band which was clipped on the peak at some point & removed.
On another forum I asked if this would be done for convenience rather than issue a new cap, I think that it was Coldstream who sid it was a case of new peaks being issued, not old ones adapted.
