Default Commando Beret WW2?

Hi
Picked up this beret this orning and wonder whether it could be from WW2, it doesn't have any date or maker marks on it. I have attached some pictures and would welcome anyones opinion on this beret.

Thanks

Rob

AFAIK, it is post-ww2 as berets didn't have slider pockets during WW2....

Hi Tom
Thanks for that, it only cost a couple of quid so happy, I thought at that price it was worth a gamble. I shall know next time to check for how the badge should be fitted to the beret.

Still a nice beret though, and well worth a few quid outlay....
