Welsh Regiment

Hi.
Thinking of buying this Welsh regiment Cap badge to add to my Victorian infantry collection. Just want to check with the forum first to ensure it is OK. Only reason i am a little unsure is that the only other examples of this badge i have seen have only one blow hole.

It looks fine to me. Without checking I can’t remember if I have any Welsh spelling variants with the double sweat/braze holes, but I do have them for the Pembs Yeo for the same period so no concerns there.

As Kevin said it’s fine. I’ve got an early Welsh Regt badge with 2 circular braze holes that I picked up whilst at uni in Aberystwyth a long time ago.
