Default YMCA Sports Ribbons, Valcartier, 1914

In the course of researching men from Sault Ste. Marie who went with the 2nd Battalion overseas, I was recently given a set of Sports Ribbons that one of our casualties received before going overseas ultimately to die in April of 1916. As I had never seen these particular items before, I thought I would share them with the forum. It is nice to have the first second and third awards.

Hope you enjoy.
