Default JRGaunt DoW mess button.

I've just bought this Mess button from eBan as the maker was listed as 'Jennens'. When I received it I found that it was a Gaunt button but instead of 'JRGaunt, London' on the reverse it has 'JRGaunt, Jennens'. Is this a sub contractor? The elephant (on right) is much chunkier that my original plus the spaces between the legs and trunk are unvoided? Any suggestions?

Hi
Jennens was a manufacturer that only made officer's badges. They were bought by Gaunt in 1924 and for a cross over period, both makers names were put on badges.
Cheers,
Alex
