Default G & W Bogget - Identification needed!

I thought I might try this one again in case one of our resident experts might have missed it last time round!

The maker is G & W Bogget - any thoughts anyone?

John

Looks as if it could be a Victorian Royal Household button.
Possibly A.D.C. in gothic script but I am unsure?

I had a go at trying to unravel it the first time round, without much success,
Saying that, I’m one of those who can look at those magic pictures for hours, getting cross eyed and not seeing anything at all. The Victorians were masters of the art of hiding things in plain site.
Sorry to be of no use what so ever.

Some information about the manufactuer and dates might help:

Bogget, George. St. Martin’s Lane. London. 1824-35.

Bogget, George & William. 1835-1838.

Bogget & Co. George & William Bogget & Co. 1838-1842.

Bogget & Reynolds. William Bogget & Joseph Reynolds. 1843-1861.

BUMP....back to top.
