Hello all,

Happy to be a member of this site/forum. Have already learned that a badge I picked up is a restrike, but fortunately didn't pay much - live and learn.

I have been a collector for most of my life, and covering many eras. Being retired now and having downsized my space is quite limited so I am only collecting insignia - cloth and metal. My primary interest is the British Home Guard of WW2, and some pieces I find interesting for the Women's Land Army.

Terry

Welcome Terry, this is a great forum, full of real honest knowledgable collectors, regarding your topic Jon ( Postwarden) would be a real help I’m sure within this area of collecting & very knowledgeable on the Home Guard etc.
