Default Modern Military Tailors Jewish Chaplain Cap Badge

Hi Guys,

Bit of a rigmarole but worth checking.

Follow link below

https://goldings.co.uk/product-categ...ns-department/

and scroll down to the entry:

THE ROYAL ARMY CHAPLAIN’S DEPARTMENT NO.1 JEWISH HAT BADGE

Click on the entry to see image of the badge.

Took me a while but can you see anything wrong?

Regards,

Chris

Wrong centre and wreath, unless the pattern has been changed.

Yes, I was wondering whether they'd just stuck on the centre of the Christian Chaplain's by mistake.

Error not withstanding, it also looks cheap and nasty whilst being somewhat expensive.

Leigh and Marc got it right. Wreath is wrong and the Jewish version of this badge does not have 'IN THIS SIGN CONQUER' in the center. This script being taken from the dream Constantine had when Christ told him he should use the sign of the cross against his enemies at the battle of Milvian Bridge.

Major fail by G. D. Golding.

Took me a while to work it out though!

Regards,

Chris

The other thing that surprised me was that military tailors were commissioning their own badges. Is this still a common thing?

Chris
