Default Genuine or fakes ?

Gents, I know these 3 badges have been faked to death so could I ask for your expert opinions again please? The KDG is a lot darker on the back than the front and looks to be brass. The Royal West Kent is a caramel looking brown (gilded ??) and the Cambridgeshire is brass but looks to have been blackened at some stage. Would Cambridgeshire have ever worn a blackened badge ?

Hello Frank ....they were bought at auction about 3 years ago....I went through a phase of buying a lot of cap badges from different auctions when I first took an interest in the hobby. Unfortunately unforeseen circumstances have dictated that I have not got round to start sorting them out until recently. As a result, I have been disappointed to find that the majority of what I paid good money for, has ended up being fake.
Regards, Jim.
