Hello gentlemen,

Is anybody able to give me an indication as to when this small form of sergeant's 3-bar chevron was worn in NZ Army, and on what dress?

By way of an alternative suggestion, these stripes look like South African ones worn on women's office and service dress circa 1980s.

This small size was worn on the BD blouse and SD jacket from the 1950's.

I had assumed NZ because the pair came with a couple of post WW2 RNZA sergeant's gun badges in the same material
