Not sure if it is just me but isn’t it great when you make a pair in your collection. I had one of these Durham Light Infantry Volunteer Battalion shoulder boards with WM button, Crown and V in gold bullion (1901-08) from Les Martin a few years ago and picked up the matching one a few weeks ago off an electronic auction site via my pal Pat (aka Longdog). Now if only I could do that with collar badges!
