Default M118 Cameron Highlanders

Re the cut-out badges for post-WWI Cameron Highlanders (Maz. M118), could anyone tell me if they are/were all 43rd CEF Cameron badges (Charlton 43-A) which were modified, or did they also use other Cameron CEF types, like the 174th? Thanks.

Bill: No I don't, sorry. Mazeas and the forum 1920s project here both show cut-down 43rd CEF badges (Charlton 43a) for the post-WWI M118 Cameron badge. Reason I asked was there was a cut-down Cameron badge on EBay I was interested in (but didn't get), which was a cut-out 174th badge (Charlton 174), with remnants of the 1 and 4 on the cross arms. I was looking for confirmation that both the 43rd and 174th badges were chopped up for use post-war.

Could someone post an image of a WW1 example of the 43rd. What should I look for? I have aquired a pair and plaque to a Somme casualty and want a original badge for the group. Arctic Medals have two but very expensive, why so costly compared to other inf units?

Thanks
