Default Nottinghamshire combined constabulary info please

Good evening,
Can anyone tell me if the Nottinghamshire combined constabulary ever wore a blue ring, solid centre star cap badge, with coat of arms in the centre? I've come across a few, but they're not as common as the ER centre.

Looks like there's no answer to this one! Never mind.
Thanks

Altcar73 is your man for this one, he's a police badge expert.

Yes, there is a solid centre version with the arms centre and also a voided version. Both from different dies. The voided centre has a "dot" at each end of the word "Constabulary". The solid centre does not. Don't know which came first, I'd hazard a guess that the solid centre was the first one of that type. The EIIR centre was an interim pending the Police Authority getting a grant of arms. Apologies for my late response.

Dave.

Thanks Dave. Should have known you'd have a detailed answer to the question. The solid centre coat of arms one iwas looking at has a dot at each end of Constabulary. So that's a no go.
