Default 44RTR (North Somerset Yeomanry) Officer's Badge

Hi Guys,

Here's a lovely 44RTR (North Somerset Yeomanry) Officer's Badge I recently acquired - thanks Dean!

It got me thinking - I've never seen an OR's pair of 44RTR (North Somerset Yeomanry) collar badges. Does anyone know if they exist? If so, I am chasing a pair.

Am also chasing a 44RTR (North Somerset Yeomanry) NCO's bullion arm badge. I was lucky enough to find one in the USA but it was lost on transit during the start of the 2020 covid lockdowns! Not happy!

Enjoy!

Mick

Does anyone know if OR's anodised collar badges exist for 44RTR?

I have a set of NSY Sgts Stripes which came out of the Old Market TA Centre in Bristol in 67.

'Lost in transit'. I read an article in The Times recently that reported that tens of thousands of parcels that had built up in storage and delivery depots over the various lockdowns were just sent to landfill instead of being worked through and delivered. The article was prompted by the recovery of a 100 year old FA trophy (not the FA Cup!) by a worker tasked with disposing of the parcels who decided to investigate this particular parcel (presumably because of the FA headquarters address on the label). Obviously the companies involved (not named) chose to put their profits before their ethical duty to complete the deliveries. I suspect future generations of dump diggers will hit a rich seam of items from the Covid period.
Regards,
Leo
