Thanks for sharing Peter. What is it with some of these regiments? Poorly fitting uniforms, can't keep in step...........

Thanks to you both, in photo 5 I wonder why one soldier out of all those on parade is wearing a beret ?
Also seems to be spy from The Duke of Lancasters Regiment in the attached photo. Peter

Great photos, but clearly showing the poor fit in many cases of the Number Two Dress uniform with baggy trousers, overlong sleeves and long loose jackets. Made I believe in China at the lowest possible contract price.

Thank you for the images. There are what looks like two soldiers with Khaki berets and cloth belts, no shoulder titles possibly a yellow and green lanyard plus a Green badge backing, images 3 and 5.

I well remember the days when every infantry battalion/depot etc had a regimental tailor on site. Presumably only the Guards battalions now have such an essential "luxury"?
