Default Irish Fusiliers of Canada

Seen this badge in a photo of a collection of Irish Fusiliers of Canada badges. It has an eagle mounted on the ball. The grenade badge is not that normally worn by the regiment. Possibly a badge from another regiment, which the eagle was then mounted on. Can anyone ID the grenade badge?

I've never seen one like that. The eagle looks like the metal overlay found on the bullion officer's collar badge.
