Piper badge query
Can anybody tell me if this is Irish or Scottish please. Is the second badge genuine. Many thanks

That is a generic pipers badge, one of many variations, worn by any pipers including civilian.
The Kaffarian Rifles badge looks ok to me. CB

Not sure about the metal version without checking but in the cloth type the Irish pipes are as per attached illustration for the Royal Irish
Chanter, mouth piece and two drones. |

A few examples of Piper's badges in my collection. I have the type shown in the opening post in both cloth and metal but suspect it is not British military.
