11 (XI) Signal Brigade Flash
Which R Sigs units actually wear this? and on which arm?
Would it be correct to put 14 Sigs on the right arm and 11 Sig Brg and the left arm? |

I was in 11 Sig Brigade and 2 Sig Brigade between 1986 and 1994 and never saw a brigade flash.

11 Sig Brigade flashes are worn on the left arm by members of the Signal HQ. It is not worn by the regts that make up their command. 14 Sig Regt wears it own unit badge with the horse on it. They are relatively modern as stated. The other Signal Brigades wear their own badge. 2 Bde wears the red horseshoe on a black square and 1 Bde the white spear on a blue diamond. 2 Bde units do wear the horseshoe but 1 Bde's, like 11's, do not
Under the new dress regulations for the new PCS unifrm the only badges to be worn on the right sleeve are para wings, Army commando (as appropriate) and the TRF. |
