Default Essex Regt

This came to me with a bag of mainly restrikes. Is it a large collar badge or just a fake. Not the best striking.

Royal Irish Fusiliers and actual usage long a mystery. Many reproductions / fakes around.
Try a search on RIF eagle.

RIF as mentioned. Whatever these badges were, that one looks to be bad. I have one and it is a much cleaner strike with old lugs.
