Default Royal Scots and Royal Scots Guards

Hi,
I am suspicious of all three of these officers badges. There is no green enamel behind the thistle on either. They have been substituted with green glass and green backed paper. The scots guards has die floors around the wording on the p and the 'e' and I do not think it was ever made in all white metal or silver. I will be returning them for refund. What is the opinion of the forum ? All comments welcome.
