Cap Badge for Identity
Hi
I wonder if anyone could identify the cap badge worn by the seated gentleman. I have been asked if it could be identified from a postcard of a colleagues grandfather. I'm a Royal Navy specialist, but I am sure that someone on the site would know the answer. I'm sorry that the image is not brilliant, but neither is the original John |

Both look very much like Army Service Corps to me, in the closeup you can clearly see the "S" in the middle.

54 Bty is correct, the ASC used the following; Dogs, Horses, Donkeys, Asses, Bullocks, Cattle, Oxon, Reindeer to name but a few animals. But Camels in the Middle Eastern Campaigns from Sudan 1888 to Egypt and Mesopotamia (Iraq) in 1915, and I expect that a few of them came from "East London"
