Default USAF - Pararescue Beret badge

Hi Guys,

Here's a USAF Pararescue Beret badge I recently picked up.

Its outside the usual scope of what I collect but these guys really inspire me as does their motto "That others may live". So when I saw this I had to have it.

From Wiki:
Pararescuemen (also known as PJs) are United States Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) and Air Combat Command (ACC) operators tasked with recovery and medical treatment of personnel in humanitarian and combat environments. These special operations units are also used to support NASA missions and have been used to recover astronauts after water landings. They are attached to other special operations units from all branches to conduct other operations as appropriate.

I find MERT equally as awesome for what they do, so understand completely.

Nice badge, and there are plenty of patches to go with it if you want.

Yes indeed. I've started to collect those patches as well to them. Should look good in a frame when I get them all (aiming for one patch for each current squadron).

Mick, good luck on the MERT badges as they seem harder to find than hen's teeth! if you ever find any extras, please let me know!
