Looks to be a post 1900 cavalry pouch of a fairly standard pattern, and I suspect ID may depend on hunting down which regiment[s] had a black velvet background to all the gilt and perhaps the square knot at the bottom.

Afraid that's not much help. The Worcester Yeomanry used a black background, but I'd be surprised if they were the only ones.
