Take a look at the Austin K2 Ambulance in the first two images - its the same vehicle - A1212251 - but between one picture and the other the sign on the OS Front wing has gained a unit title - NITCMT. Was the heir to the throne an unwitting member of some cunning deception plan? Or what?

OS Front wing not complete in the first image and after stencilling completed in the second. You can see the out line of the Tac Sign in the first image.

The white strip and black lettering of previous (or actual) sign is just visible - so was it overpainted or censored? And what is the expansion of NITCMT - some combination of Northern Ireland, Training Centre, Motor Transport? N...... Infantry Training Centre MT?
