Default Unknown West Riding 31 Cap Badge VTC???

Any ideas what this badge is more than welcome. My initial thoughts are WW1 VTC or perhaps Volunteer Regiment. Shown with matching shoulder title
Thanks in advance

First war unit Tadcaster VTC. I think the 31 harks back to when Tadcaster had an RVC whose corps number was 31 prior to the Cardwell reforms. Cannot think that there will be any direct connection though. I have been told they operated Ambulances during the first war but i`ve not had this verified.
Lovely badge by the way and not one that comes up very often.

Found this that may be of interest. see top left RVC list under 1860 and follow the lineage.

A lovely badge, PL, especially with the title, too, and one I've not seen before.

Good info, Dave. Thanks!

Tim
