UK APJI bullion wing
Good day gents,
Just received this new APJI bullion wing on maroon from a member. Very pleased with it. Thanks JON188. Pics of where it fits in part of my Brit Para quals. All the best to everyone. Stay safe and have fun!! Cheers, Ian P.S. Forgot to ask. Can anyone tell me the significance of the different coloured backings? Different styles of Mess Dress? Different eras of wear? Any help, info, details would be appreciated.

AD Wings
Ian,
IMHO, your AD wings bottom far right were made for the collectors market only. I have 2 versions of this see pic, the lower wings are in light blue. If someone has worn them, then arguably they are 'official' e.g. the private purchase black on green AD and QADI ones (first made in Swindon by my friend). However, to date the one in your pic has not been worn to my knowledge. I have intimately been studying AD wings since Nov 86. B Rgds Matt

Thanks gents. Sorry, should have made my self clearer. I was asking about the bullion APJI badges...but I won't turn my nose up at any info on the others.
