As are the green backed ones, desert DPM and MTP - all privately bought.
There used to be NSN's for

Dark Green on Maize
Piper Green on Black
Black on Scarlet

as well?

Mike

Yes your right. In the pre FAD days they were made for the RGJ, Gurkhas and the like who had their own pattern coloured No2 dress jackets.

There used to be a 1970s/80s poster of all of the coloured trade and qualification badges.

I remain of the opinion that the multitude of coloured ones are commercial sales items.

Alan

Here you go,

I think this was the limit of issued coloured variations:

Default wings

Unless 148 bty have changed they was issued the normal standard coloured jump wings. The only other RA unit with Forward Observation was my old unit, 4/73 Special OP bty, and again any issued would be the standard ones.

Default 1984

Thanks Mike for the posters, however they would have been right as at 1984. The wings shown and found on various backing could of course precede or post date 1984 and may be right.
Great to see these posters again!
Regards
Jon

I do not think any other 'official' colours existed before or after 1984 Jon

I have seen Subdued Black on Green being worn on Para Smocks, and Black on Sand in the Gulf, but these were private purchase, most of the others are fantasy items.
