Default Hampshire. FSC Badge

I would appreciate opinions on the attached please. The Hampshire Regiment did not initially use the left collar dog when moving to the FSC but struck a new badge.
Is this any good? It is clean and crisp but maybe too good.

Nick,

the badge is original I feel.

I dont know Hampshire regimental practice in the 1890's , however its White Metal, so I would expect it to be for a Volunteer Battalion?

Yes it’s genuine and worn by Volunteers in WM. Nice badge. To my knowledge this design has not been faked... yet.
