Some of the post UDI RhAF brevets and wings in my collection.

The three versions of the printed PJI brevets. One of these was given to me by Air Lt Paul Hogan and one by Sqn Ldr Derek De Kock DMM former OC of PTS.

There was only one type of the Despatchers wing worn from 1977-1980.

Three RhPJI padded brevets for the No 1 uniform. The Zimbabwe PJI brevet was worn by a senior officer of Rh PTS and later the last white OC of Zimbabwe PTS.

The reverse of the three RhPJI brevets and the Zimbabwe PJI brevet. The issued RhPJI brevet has velcro added to the reverse. The RhPJI brevet with the white backing is the only one I have seen with that colour gauze.

WOW !!!! Rhodesianmilitaria,

Now they are a sight for sore eyes, (Rh AD Brevets) all of which are hard to find, and I believe highly sort after, I was also told deep pockets are required to acquire them as well .

And I thought I'd only need to find 2 of them, then my world just disintegrates around me, .......... If you have any spares ....

Thank you for showing them Rhodisianmilitaria, I've only seen 2 of them in a book

Ken (The Fatboy)

Hello Ken,

Thanks for the compliment. Yes the AD wings are difficult to find, the ones from the 50's (made in England) are rare. I have I think two left to get. Out of two of the rarest one was given to me by a very good friend and the other one I purchased in South Africa and there weren't many bidders so I was really surprised. Most probably didn't know what it was as it is rare.

I'm sorry I don't have any spares as they rarely come on the market. Photos of them being worn are even rarer although someone sent me a photo of his father many years ago and he was wearing an early 60's wing.
