Default Royal Norfolk WWII 2nd Try

Before I cross this one off my list I would like to get the nod from the group. I posted it with the first one I purchased many, many years ago that was laughed off the site. I can see now the advantage of handling many badges to get some experience since these two badges are not even close.

You can go ahead and cross them off.

Thank you for the comments. I am in a situation where if I see a British badge on my list I buy it and hope for the best. It's always good to shorten the list.

Alan O, you were much kinder to the small Norfolk badge than when I first posted about it.

Once I've bothered everyone with the latest batch of badges I picked up I will post a want list on this site. Thanks again.

Not sure what you mean by kinder? It is a good badge just not the size worn during the war.

The little Norfolk badge was deemed a fake when I asked about it almost five years ago, now.

I asked about the Norfolk badge a few years ago and it was not considered genuine.

The large badge is certainly a Marsh Catalogue fake with the overlarge helmet.

Hi, just looked them both, and I feel that both are likely to have made recently.

I fully agree and that is why they can be crossed off. The large one is obvious.

The larger one is without any doubt a genuine badge. The smaller one I am not sure, but I suspect it is wrong.

It looks good Rob, but slightly clearer pictures would confirm.

Thanks for the comment, I am not the best photographer and if I offer this badge for sale I will re-shoot hopefully better pics.
