The Warwicks have Arrived
Hi I am Phil Haycock. I am a collector of Royal Warwickshire Regiment cap badges, collar badges and insignia. I also do living history as WW1 Warwicks, WW2 Warwicks and mainly as 181 or 195 Airlanding Field Amulance 1944.
I hope my many years of research into the Warwicks badges will of use here. |

Phil,
What is your view on the ORs all brass badge. They appear at Bosleys auctions as 1916 economy but research suggests that they were not authorised as such. Any thoughts? Alan |

Hello and welcome!
I have a small English language question for you guys... In Warwick.... do you pronounce the second "W"... I heard that it is silent???? PS: I live in the province of Québec and we have a town also named Warwick. Thanks! |

Yep, the second 'w' is silent. If you say War-wick, you're describing a popular American singer, not a place in England
