Hello Kit, You may want to contact the following couple of forum memebers who may be able to help you also PM sent:-
rattle-watch1 & Gurkha Rifles (who is Singapore based)
Here is my small collection of SGR. The 1st one is white metal with lugs and the 2nd is chromed with blades so I assume it is an officers badge
