Default Nigerian Forestry Svc. and Ranger Badges

Here are a pair of Fez badges "scrolls" found recently at a show in the U.S. They were mounted on the card with text as shown. Appear to be local made. Interesting subject. All input is welcomed, Best Jack

Hello Irish,

I have some more badges for the Forestry Dept. I believe mine originate from Kenya but that is to be confirmed. They arrived as a job lot including the Kenyan Forest Dept. cap badge with an imperial crown. Included is a couple of titles from the Native Administration Police Force.

It's interesting that the West African badges you have were worn on the Fez. Perhaps some of mine were too. That would probably make the abbreviated FG and FR as shoulder titles?

Hello Garry, very nice lot of badges. The larger titles seem to be of the same construction style as the two I had posted. Yes it would seem that the initialed badges were by size best fitted to the shoulder. As mentioned in my post these had been found at a U.S insignia show and the identification as FEZ badges could not be confirmed by myself. Again thanks for the pic's

Best
Jack
