Jury Fire Brigade badge?
Does anyone have any idea who would have worn this collar badge. I assume that it is Fire Brigade related due to the crossed axes. Googling Jury Fire Brigade only brings up information about jury service exemptions for Fire Brigade personnel.
Was there a private company called Jury who had their own fire brigade? They may be a Birmingham / South Midlands connection. The badge may be offered for sale. |

Hi High Wood,
In the Isle of Man there is a place called Jury where their new prison is situated.I wonder if there was a link between there and your badge ? Regards, Bantam |

The Isle of Man Prison is in JURBY, not JURY.

I think it's French. Jury is in N.E. France. Brigade de Sapeurs-Pompiers de Jury.
