Default WW1 RFC Pilots' wings

Hi all
A potential customer of mine wanted me to post this on here for a second opinion on originality. I'm completely happy with it.
Thanks
Jack

Sorry for the relatively poor quality scan

If it were me, I'd go for a different pair, I don't like the wings and the quality of manufacture, probably genuine, but I'd look for one I was more comfortable with.

I have to agree with unknownsoldier. I don't like the back, it looks heat shrunk which is modern manufacturing. I would be very suspicious of this wing. If the price is really cheap then maybe a chance, at market value of £250+...no way.
Good luck

I'll get some better scans done tonight

It mightn't be the nicest example, but I have no doubt it is a genuine piece

Thanks
Jack

Have to agree with the others I'm afraid. Front is passable, but the back looks like some of the more recent repros. I'd pass on it.

An average price for an RFC wing would be £150.00 to £175.00

Exclamation RFC wings value

I don't know where SAS1 is buying his RFC wings but if you can find good condition, genuine ones at those prices, next time you find one you don't want, give me a call!

You're not in the UK Old L. Not hard to find at that price. Shop with unknown soldier, he gets em cheaper!
