Wonderful Present Received Today
When I saw Tony's CCF album one day I noticed he had a title for the Royal Hospital School, and that looked like something I needed in my collection of medical units. Tony suggested I contact the organization, so I did some searching, found an address and wrote the school. The lady I was in contact with asked the CCF Department about it and they brought her some patches for me. Well, they arrived today and I am so happy to have them. I plan to frame them and put them up in my study with the note she included.
I am in awe of the kindness so many people across the pond have extended to me, and feel truly blessed. Many here from the forum, and a few from regiments I have contacted. Rather than try to name everyone for fear of missing someone, let me just say to all - thank you very sincerely!!! Terry |

Very nice , it's amazing how generous people can be when you make a polite enquiry .

Could not agree more Mike. Kindness begets kindness, and when an action seems out of character, then benefit of the doubt goes a long way because you may not know what might be going on behind the scenes.
I have been working on reading the inscription on the knife badge and it looks to me like it reads "Further Infantry Skills Training". So I am guessing this is some kind of course completion patch. One of the two I received has Velcro on the back and the other does not. So maybe worn on a blanking patch or a brassard? Terry |

Mike, Love the magazine!!!
I see one of the sports is called "Rounder". I am not familiar with it, but looks like they use some sort of little bat. Thank you again! Terry |

"Rounders" - a rougher, tougher version of baseball, played by British children.
